What you can expect

On the day of your experience, we will meet you in town or pick you up from your accommodation in the local area, before heading to one of the many beaches for your private surfing lesson! Due to the constantly changing wind, swell and tides, your instructor will search for the best waves each day, and will go for the less crowded beaches around the area so you can get the most out of your surfing lesson. During your surfing lesson your instructor will be in the water with you, helping with correct paddling techniques, teaching you how to catch waves and how to turn, and talking about wave selection and understanding the elements of the ocean

Hotel Pickup
  • Mojosurf will arrange to pick you up from your accommodation in Byron Bay or Lennox Head - please contact us to enquire. You will then head to one of the many local surfing beaches and drop you off again at the end of your lesson.

  • This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of extreme weather conditions or very big waves we may reschedule your experience for a later date. __Dress Code__
  • Bring swimmers and a towel, sunscreen and a small amount of cash. Valuables should be left at home. Wetsuits and rash guards will be provided. __Numbers on the day__
  • The price quoted is for up to 2 person. You will be one-on-one with your surfing instructor during your lesson. __Other Info__
  • You need to sign a waiver prior to participating in this experience. Wetsuits and rash guards will be provided, as will surfboards. We have easy-to-ride learner boards available for beginners.
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
